Coretax has been fully operational since early 2025, and almost all of the tax team's attention is drawn to invoices and SPT reporting. However, behind the main menu, there is a layer that has also moved to Coretax and often determines the smoothness of affairs outside the tax office: administrative services.
Taxpayer Status Confirmation, or KSWP, is the most commonly used example but rarely discussed. Since this service moved to Coretax DJP and is no longer available on DJP Online, many staff have only realized when tender applications or permits are stalled due to invalid taxpayer status.
Why KSWP Suddenly Became Important
KSWP is a status confirmation requested by government agencies before providing certain public services, ranging from permit processing to fund disbursement. The Coretax system only provides a valid status if two conditions are met: the name and NPWP match the data from the Directorate General of Taxes, and the Annual SPT for the last two tax years has been reported. One forgotten SPT can change the status to invalid, and it usually becomes apparent at the most inconvenient moment.
The New Path is Not the Same as Before
In Coretax, KSWP is submitted through the taxpayer service menu, entering the administrative services section, then selecting the application type with code AS.01 for tax obligation fulfillment and its derivative AS.01-02 for status confirmation. For those accustomed to the old interface, this application code-based flow feels foreign. This is what causes many people to wander through the menu before finally finding their way.
Other Services That Have Moved
KSWP is just one entry point. Data validation, issuance of certificates, and various other administrative applications now exist within the Coretax ecosystem with a similar application code logic. Teams that are already familiar with this menu map work much faster. Those who are not often spend time on what is actually trivial. Issues like this rarely make it into tax training that focuses solely on invoices and SPT.
Competencies Being Reassessed
More than a year after Coretax was launched, the capabilities of the tax team are no longer measured by how quickly they fill out SPT, but by how broadly they understand the entire surface of the system. Administrative services, often underestimated, frequently hold up progress when needed suddenly. Knowing them from the beginning is much cheaper than learning under pressure.
